নিখোঁজের দুইদিন পর ঝর্ণা রাণী মল্লিক নামের এক বিধবা নারীর ঝুলন্ত লাশ উদ্ধার করেচে পুলিশ। বুধবার দুপুরে জেলার উজিরপুর উপজেলার মশাং গ্রামের নিহত ওই নারীর বাড়ির পার্শ্ববর্তী বাগান থেকে ঝুলন্ত লাশ অবস্থায় লাশটি উদ্ধার করেন থানা পুলিশের সদস্যরা।
উজিরপুর মডেল থানার ওসি জিয়াউল আহসান নিহতের স্বজনদের বরাত দিয়ে জানান, গত দুইদিন যাবত বিধবা ওই নারী নিখোঁজ ছিলো। বুধবার দুপুরে স্বজনেরা বাগানে ঝুলন্ত লাশ দেখতে পেয়ে থানা পুলিশ কে খবর দেয়। পরে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে লাশটি উদ্ধার করে। এঘটনায় পরবর্তী আইনগত ব্যবস্থা নেয়ার প্রক্রিয়া চলছে বলেও তিনি উল্লেখ করেন।
